Monte Pram – Sciá-Costa-Trail
Description
The route starts directly in the small harbor and bathing town of Sori. At the mouth of the Torrente Sori, follow the asphalt road further and further north into the Ligurian hinterland. The ascent winds steadily uphill in numerous hairpin bends, past the beautifully situated village of Canepa. The charming little village not only offers a place to stop for refreshments, but also opportunities to top up your water reserves. The route then continues in a similar fashion to Case Cornua. There you finally meet the Strada Provinciale del Monte Fasce, which you follow further uphill - past the Monte dell'Uccellato viewpoint. Especially in spring and autumn, when the air is clear, the panoramic views here are breathtaking.
The route then continues towards Monte Pram - the bike has to be pushed a short distance before you reach the highest point of the tour (772 meters above sea level). From here, the descent begins: initially technically challenging at difficulty levels S2 to S3 in the direction of Bocchin di Pozzuolo, then continuing along the entire ridge. The trail alternates between an old mule track and natural paths, riding steadily downhill towards Monte Santa Croce. After passing Monte Santa Croce, the trail becomes more technical and has several key sections. Finally, you reach the coastal road above Pontetto and enjoy a relaxed ride on asphalt back to the starting point in Sori.
