Description

From Poschiavo train station, the route rides up the mountain road past the hospital via Cologna. Stay on this road for the entire ascent until shortly before you reach the small Alpine settlement of Sassiglion. Now turn right onto the descent. Initially fast and flowing, it rides along the sections of the Melody Trail that were renovated as part of the Trail Care Weeks. These become a little steeper and more difficult in places, but are always fun to ride and easily manageable for intermediate mountain bikers. Stay on this trail until below Plazz, where you turn left onto the mountain trail to Cantone. This rides steadily up and down to Lago di Poschiavo.
