Description
To warm up, start from Grosotto and ride down the valley to Tovo, where you turn right to cross the highway and the river. At the start of Vervio, first turn left and then right up towards Schiarezza. 1600 meters of altitude difference later, you are treated to a wonderful panorama and if you still have enough energy reserves, you can make the loop to Lago Schiarezza. From Schiarezza, the route first crosses the La Forcoletta ridge and from there more or less follows the altitude to Alpe Forcoletta and on to Carette. The trail now rides further and further into Val Grosina, constantly climbing a little. At Rifugo Malghera you reach an altitude of 1937 meters above sea level and now you descend quickly on a gravel road to Piero. On the right-hand side of the road, a wonderful single trail branches off, which then turns into a gravel road that is rough at first and then better maintained. You quickly return to the starting point (Grosotto) through the forest and across several clearings.
