Description

All tours on the Grappa are as spectacular as they are ultra-steep. The best example: the long loop around the Grappa summit to Croce dei Lebi. The first executioner is waiting just behind Borso del Grappa for bikers who are not yet in top form. Without much warning, an ancient military trail smuggles itself through the southern flank of Monte Cornosega to Campo Croce at an altitude of 1044 meters. A very steep 800 meters! After the first of many off-road sections, the route winds its way up and down via Agritur Malga Moda, C.ra Prà Pelai (1387 m), Col de la Farine (1476 m) and C.ra Cima Alta (1434 m) to Albergo Forcelletto (1396 m). Here it's time to recharge your batteries for the grand finale! On the north side of the mighty Grappa peak, a well-hidden military road winds its way up to the pass at Croce dei Lebi (1571 m). After a 200 Elevation loss singletrail descent, the prelude so to speak, you balance from a crossroads (1379 m) hard on the edge of the Sass Brusai slope to the east, then turn off the 152er onto the 153er-Sentiero below Monte Meatte (1488 m). Here, a narrow path winds like an endless tapeworm in countless hairpin bends down into the Valle San Liberale - a veritable firework display of hundred-year-old road construction. And one of the best trails in the Alps!
