Forte Busa Grande
Description
The starting point of the tour is Levico Terme. From here, the route begins along the Rio Maggiore and then follows the pass road with a slight incline on asphalt towards Passo del Compet (1383 meters above sea level). Even on the ascent, there are always deep views, made possible by the extreme windthrow that "shaved off" entire stretches of land here in the fall of 2018. From Passo del Compet, the old military road climbs another 150 meters to Busa Grande before you reach the former Forte and look out towards Lake Caldonazzo, Levico Terme and southern Trentino. The Forte was partially renovated in 2016 and is now an open-air museum and definitely worth a visit. The visual representations from the time of the First World War are also particularly interesting here.
The descent begins at the Forte. Pass the signpost and surf on difficulty levels S1 to S2 to the Passo del Compet. From the Passo del Compet, the route briefly leads onto gravel and then onto a fantastic trail along the Torrente Vignola. Difficulty level S3 is reached here in places. Above Dosso delle Galline, you cross the forest road directly below Busa Grande and then take the Mulitiera trail towards Forte/ Werk Colle delle benne. A fantastic descent, difficulty S2 throughout and S1 in places, is the reward for the ascent. At Forte/ Werk Colle delle benne, you can take a short discovery tour before riding on difficulty S2 to S3 and finally S1 to the trail finale, which finally takes you back to Levico Terme.

Fits. A nice, relatively easy tour without the discovery tour.
