Spiazzo Alto (Valsugana)

The Spiazzo Alto with the northern trail descent is a small but fine enduro circuit in Valsugana that can give you the best first impression of the region.

Description

The tour starts in Levico and then climbs up the pass road towards Spiazzo Alto on asphalt with a medium gradient. Once you reach Spiazzo Alto (1291 meters above sea level), you can enjoy a stunning panorama towards Lake Caldonazzo and the Valsugana. This point could also be described as a small Instagram hotspot. The descent was already partially visible on the ascent and so, after a hearty snack at the summit, the trail heads downhill. The historic path and the trail cut-offs of the Kaiserjägerstrasse run as a crisp trail descent towards Lake Caldonazzo and challenge the riders with a difficulty of S2 to S4 in places, pretty much every technical reserve and concentration level. Only in the last section does the trail become flowier and easier and finally lets you out again at the bottom of the valley.
