Description

From Savognin, follow the Julia river in the direction of Cunter and climb up to Salouf at the Gravas industrial site and continue along a well-maintained alpine road to Alp Munter. From here, the gravel road becomes steep, but can be ridden with the necessary effort. The 500 meters in altitude are hard to earn until you reach the Ziteil chapel,
the highest place of pilgrimage in Europe (2427 meters above sea level). The descent now leads along a wonderfully flowing alpine trail with great combinations of bends. You reach the Cre digl Lai mountain pasture, where you enter the forest section of the descent. The descent is a mix of trails and gravel roads, challenging and super flowy passages, steep sections and counter-climbs. The level is S1 to S2 throughout. This is how you get to Riom, from where you finally roll along the river back to Savognin.
