Urdenfürggli

Urdenfürggli (Lenzerheide)

The Urdenfürggli is a well-known transition from Arosa to Lenzerheide. Combined with the Churerjoch, the Fürggli is the basis for a crisp singletrail tour.

Description

In Lenzerheide, take the forest path up to Alp Scharmoin, the middle station of the mountain railroad. You pass the reservoir and head towards Obersäss on a singletrail. A short descent later, you start the ascent to Churer Joch. From there, a singletrail rides downhill almost to Berghaus Furgglis, which continues after a few meters of ascent to the small road towards Ochsenalp. The long ascent back to Lenzerheide awaits. It is easily manageable up to the lower alp, after which the path becomes very steep, and finally, from the upper alp, the bike has to be pushed around 300 meters up to Urdenfüggli. Now it's time for downhill fun on single trails and alpine paths to Alp Scharmoin, then on one of the bike park's freeride routes to the Rothornbahn valley station.
