Harschbichl-Trail – OD-Trails

Harschbichl-Trail

The official trail network in St. Johann in Tirol offers some interesting sections in combination with great views of the Wilder Kaiser.

Description

The start is just south of the town center of St. Johann in Tirol, at the Harschbichl cable car. From here you have two options: Either comfortably with the gondola lift (please note opening times), or sportily via the official cycle route up to the Harschbichl middle station. Those who tackle the uphill will be rewarded with magnificent views of the Wilder Kaiser and the surrounding Tyrolean mountains. The Harschbichl Trail then begins at the middle station, near the idyllic Angerer Alm mountain lake.

This trail is rated S1 to S2 and is ideal for riding in dry conditions - smooth, grippy and at a pleasant pace. Between rocks, rock faces, Northshore elements, small jumps and berms, there is something for everyone. The trail is excellently maintained and is fun to ride throughout. After the last bends, you return to the valley floor and the starting point. If you still haven't had enough, you can make the short transfer via the Römerweg towards Penzinghof in Oberndorf in Tirol. The OD trails await there - compact, well-built and with a high proportion of trails despite their short length.
