Hahnenkamm – Fleckalm | Ride MTB

Hahnenkamm – Fleckalm

Fleckalm-Trail

The bike park circuit rides from the Fleckalmbahn to the Ehrenbachhöhe and over to the Hahnenkamm. The very flowing and long Hahnenkamm trail to Kitzbühel starts here. Then there is the  over the Fleckalm trail back to Kirchberg. Almost 2000 Elevation loss with two trails, you don't often find that.

Description

The bike park circuit starts in Kirchberg at the Fleckalmbahn. Take the lift up and roll over to the Hahnenkamm (known for the most spectacular ski run on the "Streif"). Shortly before you reach the Hahnenkamm, the almost seven-kilometre-long Hahnenkamm Trail begins on the right. Things get off to a brisk start here. Some of the bends on the not too wide trail are not shaped as berms, so you have to vary your speed a little. However, this makes the trail a little more challenging. It gets a little steeper in the forest and there are some really great berms here that you can really slide into. In the lower part, the trail becomes a little narrower again and has more of the flair of a nature trail. It's a pretty quick ride to Kitzbühel and the Hahnenkammbahn. Take the cable car up and pedal slightly uphill to the Ehrenbachhöhe. Past the Ochsalm, the forest road leads to the Fleckalm Trail, which takes you back to the Fleckalmbahn. Where you can tackle the second lap.
