Siegerlandhütte
Description
The action starts in Sölden. Between the bike park and skiing, there is also the quiet side of the valley. You wind your way along the Windache initially on asphalt, then on gravel, via Fiegl's Hütte steadily uphill with varying gradients to the end of the valley. Towards the end, the trail once again demands everything before you have to push and carry your bike up through the Windach valley almost to the end at Siegerlandhütte. The air becomes thinner with every step, but the impressions become more indescribable. A dreamlike landscape opens up here, far away from the hustle and bustle. At the Siegerlandhütte, there are culinary highlights combined with scenic delicacies.
The descent is also a treat. This starts directly at the hut at difficulty levels S2 to S3, with massive sections at S4 level. The trail remains at this level until the start of the forest road. A never-ending descent peppered with granite blocks and hairpin bends now demands everything. The route then continues briefly on gravel before taking the official trails of the Bike Republik Sölden. A short uphill to the Kleblealm (1983 meters above sea level) invites you to a brilliant finish. A fantastic trail at difficulty level S2, occasionally S3, takes us back to the starting point in Sölden.
Note: The route is located on Austrian territory and leads over routes that are not approved for mountain bikers. Riding this route on a mountain bike is the responsibility of each individual, in full awareness of the legal situation.
