Singletrail Ötztal

The single trails in the central Ötztal are considered technically challenging. But they don't have to be: for example with the descent from the Breitlehnalm to Huben.

Description

Serpentines dominate the tour to the Breitlehnalm. This takes the form of a gravel road on the ascent and a single trail on the descent. The gravel road leads up from Lehn to the Polltalalm and from here on to the Breitlehnalm, which is only slightly higher. Both huts are catered for. The descent starts directly below the Breitlehnalm. A fairly wide, less singletrack trail rides smoothly downhill for 400 meters until you reach a gravel road. On this you roll through eleven serpentines back to Huben.

Note: The route is located on Austrian territory and leads over routes that are not approved for mountain bikers. Riding this route on a mountain bike is the responsibility of each individual, in full awareness of the legal situation.
