From St. Moritz Bad, you climb up to Lake Staz and cycle via Punt Muragl to Pontresina station. This is where the long but gentle ascent into the Roseg Valley begins. Your destination is the restaurant at the end of the road with its first-class view of the glaciers of the Bernina massif. The return trip to Pontresina follows the ascent route because the singletrack trail running parallel to it&nbspis prohibited for bikes. Turn left before Pontresina station, climb directly up to Lake Staz and finally reach Alp da Staz. The flowing single trail leads back to the starting point and is a wonderful end to an impressive but technically easy mountain bike tour.
