This tour starts relatively relaxed in Villa Santina near Tolmezzo with an uphill on asphalt towards Lauco. After just a few meters in altitude, you have a good all-round view, as well as a good orientation and, at the latest in Lauco, a view of Monte Cretis. The route continues in this manner as far as Porteal, before finally taking you up to the summit of Monte Cretis by pushing or carrying your bike on cart paths. The views to the east, south and west are magnificent. The legendary Tagliamento riverbed, Tolmezzo and the surrounding striking mountains are clearly visible.

The descent follows the ascent route in the upper section and varies in difficulty between S1 and S2. The trail remains in this style and traverses the ridge towards Lauco in a relaxed manner. In Lauco, the route then passes the church and continues along a mule track to Villa Santina. This has a difficulty level of S2 to S3, with a short push section in the upper section of the trail cut-offs. The views from the rock face above Villa Santina are magnificent.
