Cuel Feltron
Description
The starting point is the beautifully situated village of Amaro. Initially, the route leads through the village center and later steadily uphill along the military road. A construction from the Second World War at the time of the Vallo Alpino leads you up to Cristo di forca below Monte Amariana on asphalt with a moderate gradient in places. You then roll down this towards Stavoli Lisagno di sopra and push or carry your bike up to Cuel Feltron. The summit itself offers an absolutely magnificent view towards Tolmezzo, the Tagliamento and the Carnic Alps.
The route back to Stavoli Lisagno di sopra follows the same route, difficulty S2. You then roll down the gravel road for about 100 meters in altitude before turning right onto a recently created hiking trail with difficulty S2, occasionally S3, and descending along the ridge (sometimes very exposed). Below, you then come to the old mule track in the direction of Stavoli Lisagno di sotto and follow it round. This becomes increasingly difficult and has some sections with S3 to S4 grades. Some sections here are also very exposed and should only be ridden if you are absolutely confident. There are also some Vallo Alpino bunkers on the trail, which can be easily spotted with a little skill. Once you reach the main road, you can pedal back to the starting point in a relaxed manner on asphalt.
Note: The tour is generally easy to do on an e-bike, but you should allow for a short pushing section from Stavoli Lisagno di sopra to the summit.
