From Colle Curnic, you leave the gravel forest path and have to push or carry your bike to Cima Tulsti, the highest point of the tour. Cima Tulsti served as a fortification during the First World War, of which only the remains of the walls remain today. The southern view from here, especially towards Monte Zaiavor and the Kanin, is breathtaking.
The descent offers a mixture of technical difficulties between S1 and S3, including flowing sections, hairpin bends, steep steps and very tight hairpin bends with steps that lead directly back to the starting point.
