In July, Ride mapped out numerous new trails in the Haut-Provence region, particularly in the triangle formed by Val d'Allos, Val d’Entraunes, and Ubaye. This southern yet very alpine region of the French Alps is a hidden gem among mountain bikers. The trail network is exceptionally well-maintained and varied, yet the area is otherwise largely deserted, and the trails are usually empty. 

Val d’Allos offers a spectacular experience with the Supetrail from the Col de Champs, the Allos Superkombi and the Baisse de Détroit. The valley offers a range of routes that you should definitely add to your list. The new routes in Haute Provence were compiled by route author Thomas Giger; they have been supplemented with new entries by Martin Depauli from Valle Varaita and the Valle di Susa.
