Saile/Nockspitze - Süd
Description
The tour starts in Telfes in the Stubai Valley. From here, the route starts on asphalt and later on gravel on a medium and moderate incline to the Pfarrachalm (1740 meters above sea level). Once at the Pfarrachalm, the bike is pushed or carried up to the Nederjoch and then over the ridge to the Nockspitze/Saile. The upper meadow slope in particular is top in terms of panorama, but very steep and challenging. The summit has a breathtaking panorama in all directions and a gentle formation.
The descent is either the same as the ascent to the Joch or along the ridge to the Halsl and then on to the Nederjoch. The difficulty of both variants is classified as S2 to S3. From the Nederjoch, the route descends to the Pfarrachalm with the same level of difficulty. The final showdown into the Stubaital awaits at the Pfarrachalm. The level of difficulty is similar to the upper section and you are immersed in a wonderful forest that seems to have been prepared just for bikers. This is a dream, especially in autumn when the larches are in color.
Note: The route is located on Austrian territory and leads over routes that are not approved for mountain bikers. Riding this route on a mountain bike is the responsibility of each individual, in full awareness of the legal situation.

Super tour! A physically demanding ascent from the Pfarrachalm up to the summit (the bike has to be carried steeply uphill for about 600 meters), but it's more than worth it! Magnificent views at the summit and a very varied, ingenious descent! Only at an altitude of approx. 2200 m.a.s.l. follow the path to the right and not the GPS track straight down - the path straight down no longer exists and it is extremely tedious to carry the bike through bushes and steep, sloping terrain with gravel about 100 meters downhill.
Actually perfect for ebikes!
