Monte Finonchio Süd
Description
The tour starts in the small village of Noriglio. From here, you wind your way up the pass road on asphalt to Serrada (1250 meters above sea level), initially on a gentle gradient and later on a moderate gradient. Again and again you pass small villages with a typical Italian style and flair, which makes the uphill ride go quickly. In Serrada, take a sharp left onto the official cycle route to Rifugio Finonchio. An old military road takes you up to 1603 meters above sea level and as you gain altitude, the fantastic panorama also increases. To the south you have views of Monte Zugna and Monte Pasubio, to the north views of Trentino and the main Alpine ridge, leaving little to be desired. The Rifugio Finonchio also offers a cozy place to stop for refreshments before the main part of the tour begins.
The descent begins: with varying degrees of difficulty, but mostly S2 to S3, you wind your way down the entire south side towards Pinteri. Finally, just before Noriglio, you are let out onto asphalt again and roll the last few meters back to the starting point. Conclusion: A fantastic tour in the middle of Trentino, which is particularly enjoyable in autumn and spring due to the low vegetation and fine temperatures.

N.B.: Everything done logically with the e-bike! 🥰
We liked it very much! The climb seems endless. We found the descent to be very nice, flowy and easy. I would say only a few and then only short S3 sections. Great panorama and even refreshment stops.
Thanks for your comment. How are you technically set up? Just planning my 2-week trip in the region.
