Monte Misone
Description
The route starts in Gavazzo between Riva and Arco. From here, you wind your way through vineyards on gravel to Lago di Tenno. Lago di Tenno is a beautiful mountain lake a little away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Garda. The route continues along the cycle path for a few more kilometers and metres in altitude towards Fiave. Before that, take the Strada forestale and wind your way along the gravel road to Malga di Fiave. A fantastic alpine pasture in the middle of the mountain landscape with a fabulous panorama. The first trail cut-off is only a short distance away. On difficulty level S2, the route briefly descends to the saddle before you have to push or carry your bike another 200 meters up to the summit of Monte Misone. Once you have reached the highest point of the tour, a 360-degree panorama deluxe follows. From Lake Garda to the massive rock formations around Trention, all views are possible.
The descent is just as varied as the view. Initially on S2, it briefly changes to S1 before the trail party really gets going on the Witchride. On S2 and S3, you fight your way through loose gravel and deciduous forest to Bastiani. Here the route continues in a similar manner, but becomes a little easier until Dos de la cros. There is no end in sight from Dos de la cros. Different levels of difficulty ride up to Tenno. Here, the trail monster rears up once again for a short time before the last few Elevation loss are more or less rolled out. Conclusion: Probably one of the best tours around Lake Garda, but one that should not be underestimated due to the very long ascent.
Tip: Take the shuttle to Ballino at Lago di Tenno and shorten the ascent slightly.
