Monte Ranzo - Ciago
Description
The route starts at the historic village of Castel Toblino on Lake Toblino. From here, the route winds relatively steeply, but on asphalt and concrete, idyllically through the woods over the Val Busa to Ranzo. You cross the typical Italian village of Ranzo and reach the mountain road with a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Toblino and the surrounding mountains, then turn left towards Margone and on to Malga di Gazza or Malga di Ranzo. Now it gets really steep. E-mountain bikers have a clear advantage here. The further up you go, the steeper the road becomes. From the saddle in particular, the views of the Brenta Dolomites, the Adamello group and the surrounding mountains are extreme. The eternally long ridge at an altitude of almost 1900 meters above sea level is crossed before you reach the highest point of the tour, Monte Ranzo. A fantastic place, embedded in a gigantic mountain world!
The descent begins. At the beginning, you surf down the entire ridge at S1 level with an insane view as far as Lake Garda. From the saddle, turn left onto the Sentiero. At difficulty levels S2 to S3, you descend to Margone. A wonderful historic path, which has now mutated into a trail, is a real treat in the region. In Margone, there is an interplay between downhill and uphill. For a short time, the route climbs 100 meters in altitude before continuing to the right on difficulty S2 to S2 for what feels like half an eternity on trails to Ciago. The entire southern mountain ridge is traversed on this variant and the trail kilometers are collected just like that. From Ciago, you return to the starting point of Castel Toblino on main and secondary roads.

The tour is really great. Thanks to the Italians who tar almost all the way to the summit, the uphill is easy to master. I couldn't get enough of the first section from the summit and it's super varied all the way down to the valley. Apart from the traverse with the interplay of uphill and downhill, which wore me out, it was first class.
S1 to S2, was a typo :-/
Difficulty S2 to S2" ?
