Heuberg
Description
The route starts in Nussdorf am Inn. From here, you pedal partly on a moderate gradient on gravel to the Deindlhütte/Laglerhütte. This inn is a popular excursion destination in the Bavarian border region with Germany and Austria and offers rustic architecture and excellent cuisine. From the hut, the route continues along a cart track to the summit before you shoulder/push your bike and take a relatively steep forest path to the summit of the Heuberge. At 1338 meters above sea level is the end and you have reached the highest point of the tour.
From a panoramic point of view, the same can be expected from the downhill trail, but it should be noted that it should definitely be dry conditions. The descent is sometimes unrideable when wet. At difficulty levels S2 to S4, the trail leads through the forest towards the Bichleralm. Some key sections are waiting to be cracked and the choice of line and concentration are the top priority here. From the Bichleralm, the difficulty does not really decrease. At difficulty level S3, the route heads back towards Steinach, Labach before arriving at the bottom of the valley and following the country road back to the starting point.
Note: It should be noted that the Heuberg is a very popular hiking destination and offers a relatively fast summit hike, so an extremely high number of tourists can be expected, especially at weekends and on public holidays. The tour should only be undertaken during the week or in the dead periods.
