The June results from the Ride tour database are impressive with two regional focuses. One was in Valtellina and Lake Como. The region close to Switzerland's southern border has long been known as an attractive mountain bike region. The following routes are particularly noteworthy:

• Monte Colmegnone (Como)
• Rifugio Bosio - Dosso-Trail (Valmalenco)
• Val Belviso (Tirano)
• Ortler-Umrundung

Friaul, Istria and Rijeka

The second focus in the route collection was on southern Friuli and especially around the Croatian port city of Rijeka and the Istrian peninsula, which should definitely be included in the plan for the next trail trip in spring or fall! The following routes should be included in the plan: 

• Bikepark Rabac (Istria)
• Sedlo Pass (Istria)
• Veliki Kamenjak (Rijeka)
• Vidalj - Mudna dol Trail (Rijeka)

Flumserberg

There is also a newly discovered route that deserves a special mention and is much easier to reach for many: the long runs on the Flumserberg. The two 1500 Elevation loss descents are among the best that trail bikers in Eastern Switzerland can take on:

The ride database now includes 2218 researched and detailed singletrail tours, which were accessed more than 100,000 times in June 2024 (source: Google Analytics).
