Description

The tour starts in Sterzing and winds its way through the Ridnauntal valley to Maiern. If you want to shorten this tour, you can use a bike shuttle from Sterzing to Maiern or the public bus as a shuttle. From Maiern, the leisurely roll-in is over and the route continues on a moderate to high gradient to the Prischeralm (2160 meters above sea level). From this point, you enter a historic Vallo-Alpino trail and take it up to the saddle. Once you reach the saddle, you can already see the trail descent and the breathtaking panorama of the Tribulaun with the Black Wall.

The descent is initially on difficulty levels S2 to S3 until the fork in the trail, before you reach the feeder road or a forest path. In the meantime, make sure to adjust your speed if there is a high density of vegetation, as erosion has occurred on the trail in some places. From the Alrissalm, the last trail sections lead back to Innerpflersch, where the difficulty is once again increased to S3.
