Herrentisch-Trail
Description
While you used to be able to take the gondola up to Rosskopf quickly and effortlessly, you now have to use your own muscle power. To do this, you roll the first few meters on the cycle path towards the Brenner Pass, but then branch off to the left and climb up to Tschofs and Flanes. Now the ascent turns into a gravel road and you climb up the north side of the Flaner Jöchl to the mountain station of the Rosskopf gondola lift. This is exactly 1000 meters in altitude before the descent begins. To do this, head south on the trail at the mountain station and then take the single trail downhill along the Herrentisch stream. The trail is varied: fast, flowing, winding, steep, flat, a little bit of everything. Finally, a load of hairpin bends takes you directly to the center of Sterzing.

Descent in great condition, essentially S2. Be sure to take the summit with you, magnificent panorama and fun trail on the ridge down to the northeast.
Nice downhill trail, was fun. Riding technique could also be a 3.
If you want to take the Rosskopf cable car up: 21€ + 5€ for the bike.
