The ideal starting point for the tour is the village of Schmieden near Niederdorf. Climb up the Altpragser Tal valley on a gravel road to Brückele. Now it gets tough: the 800-metre gravel road up to the Rossalm is extremely steep. If you don't have the thighs of a world champion, you will primarily tackle this ascent on foot. This ascent is the reason why this route is particularly suitable for e-mountain bikers. With the motorized support, the ascent can easily be done in the saddle. A stop at the Rossalm just below the culmination point is recommended simply because of the fun innkeepers.
