The route starts in the mystical area around Lago di Landro (Lake Dürrensee). From here, it's partly on cycle paths, then steadily uphill along the pass road to Lago di Misurina. Lake Misurina is a highlight of the Dolomites, but it still has to be topped. From the lake, you pass the campsites and pedal relatively steeply on gravel towards the Rifugio Fonda Savio. From an altitude of almost 1900 meters above sea level, the bike lands on the back and is left here until the Rifugio. A magnificent ascent to a magnificent hut. Very quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, the route leads into a gigantic mountain backdrop. At the Rifugio you have breathtaking views in the heart of the Dolomites.

The descent follows the ascent variant on difficulty levels S2 to S3. It is easy to ride and very harmonious, demanding a lot from the biker, but is easy to master with the right riding technique. It finally ends at Lago d'Antorno. An idyllic little lake, which you pass and then ride down towards the Rienza Valley (Valle della Rienza). This is an old military trail with varying degrees of difficulty, especially in the last section (S3 to S4), where you should push your bike in the exposed sections. Afterwards, it's a relaxed ride back to the starting point.
